Some of you may have the same problem. I have a '69 White FreightLiner COE. The air wiper motors drive me nuts. Some times they work, in a spastic way, some time they don't. I would like to know if there's a " bolt on
replacement " 12v electric motors. I've been looking at the universal ones for cars/trucks.

I'm thinking the same thing with my '87 T-600, the air motors are leaking like a sieve and no air motor is a good motor. Will be following this thread closely!

Check some hot rod shops, not sure how durable they would be.

Check out Summit Racing and seach for AutoLoc Heavy-Duty Power Windshield Wiper Kits.

I posted a link, but I guess that won't work....

Checked out the kit listed in the above link. Interesting, but what I'm looking for is a wiper motor thats self contained. It would wipe back and forth. Don't have room for cross bars. I belive In the KISS principle. The passanger side air motor started to behave again.... But drivers side is dead now. Again.. Some days I feel like drilling a hole thru and mounting a handle... I'm now looking at the drivers side dash wondering how much I'll have to disasemble, to get to the motor, moan....

How you tried looking for parts from trucks with electric wipers?

The Kenworth B-Cab hasn't really changed all that much mechanically in the last 20 years...

If you don't care about them wiping in sync, you could check out fork lift wipers or even tractor wipers at TSC or Farm&Fleet.

Over here we use a rear wiper motor off a General Motors station wagon , one speed but it,s in between your old two speed wiper set up so it,s quite good - mounting is not a problem on a kenworth as you can utilize the old air cylinder mounting bracket , shaft length is the same as air cylinder and your wiper arms bolt straight on only problem is you have to mount two motors , Paccar do sell a conversion kit but it costs -

What year on the GM station wagon. I'm going to stick my head up under the dash this weekend to see how much of a pain it's going to be getting the old one out. I'll try and document what I'm doing with text and pic's. I had the same idea. If I can find a motor that close to the mounting holes with same lenght and shaft dia as the wipers, it could work. As to speed, as long as it's not going like a bat outa hell. Just need to wipe the water off.
