cheap tires

Where was this info last week??? LOL

 

for long time i was buying a cheap tire(TOYO) for @300 ,never more after 6 months i need a new one,off the end the cheap tire was more expensiv,from this time i buy only good brand tires , steertire -michelin XZA 3@ ,drivetire -goodyear ss 392 duraseal

 

More often than not with tires you will get what you pay for. You just have to decide what you need them to do and how much you can afford. If you want to run them 500,000 miles, buy the good stuff. If its a grain truck you use once a year, its tough to even justify new recaps.

Im a tire snob, can't stand cheap tires. especially on steers.

 

Cheap tires cost less to buy, but nine times out of ten cost more per mile to run. I don't even look at price anymore, but quality. And for me that is Michelin, they always cost more up front but last longer than anything else I have tried.

i paid 2000 out the door for 8 recaps from scchwab. 4 have been warrenteed from sidewall defects.

now that winter is here. hopefully they won't be blowing out anymore.

4008.00 for 8 bridgestone m720 el - has roughly 228k on them. Still more than 60% tread on it.
Steers- good year this time, last time was michelin. I cant get them to last a full year. Right now, close to 70kish on them and I will most likely replace them by the end of the year.
