NOT snake oil ...it works, what I have used for my vehicle's, had a bearing rattle in the wife's car has over 175K on it ,added MotorKote it starts up even -20 and no more problem worrying about if she spins a bearing...use it on alot of different items

If I have a "bearing rattle" in a 500hp diesel engine, I believe the cure will not be found in any bottle of snake oil, but rather in an engine rebuild. Besides, if there was anything in it that was of value in protecting the metal-to-metal interfaces in an engine, it would already be in the oil formulation.

Been using it for a long time.I love this stuff.I have close to 2 Million on the Detroit and NO REBUILD as of yet.

I put 1 Gallon in every other oil change..DO NOT take away any oil like LUCAS SNAKE OIL JUNK....Just add it and go..I burn 1 gallon of oil every 24,000 miles.I believe in Motorkote and my OPS System...Check out the test and other competition

This was a Testimonial from a guy i new in the NY Area from 3 years ago..He still has this boat in his yard..

Talk about a testimonial, Last spring I put MotorKote in the engine of my 23 foot 1970 Penn Yan, 230 OMC (327Chevy) A couple weeks later my impeller pump went south. The rubber impeller went bad. Too impatient to wait for the new one to come from California, I went to Wal Mart and bought an electric one and it was so much too much it filled the crank case up with water. Still too lazy and impatient (I had too much fishing to get done) I used it all summer, (every weekend) with a crankcase full of water and I drained the oil out .Bare in mind I did not realize I had a crank case full of water until fall when I took the boat out of the water I did know the oil had become milky, so I thought I blew a head gasket, I drained the oil out and I drained 4 times the water that I did oil. Then I took the heads off and realized there was no blown head or gasket, it was just the electric pump was so fast it fill up the engine before I realized it. But there was never a knock, or a tick, all summer with 4 to 1 water-oil ratio. I could only attribute this to the fact that I put your product in ahead of time.

It would be nice if things like this had actual lab test verification of these claims. I suppose anything can be possible, but not very probable. I would not base a buying decision on an anecdotal comment about what someone put in their boat. Not saying MotorKote is bad or good. Don't have any dog in that hunt. The story may be true. But we all know that anyone can write anything and without substantive testing to verify the claim, it really is spurious at best.

This, they can lab test anything beyond reasonable doubt & show the results. If they are not showing the results, there is a reason.

Am not knocking motor kote & never have researched/used it. But have seen it for years & would think if it was the saving grace, one would not have to research it.

One also needs to stand back and take a breath and look at the big picture. What is so wrong about engine oils that they need some major help? Also, look at the cost involved. A gallon of MotorKote is almost $100 at the truck stops. I can use a full synthetic engine oil in my engine for a cheaper price overall and get very good results. Even MotorKote information says that the benefits of MotorKote are not near as good when compared to a full synthetic. Compared to a gallon of MotorKote, the added cost of 10 gallons of full synthetic over 10 gallons of conventional oil of the same brand is less cost, and has far and away more testing data behind it showing positive effects.

And for those that have been sold on MotorKote (or any other product) because of what they saw from a Falex or Timken bearing test (called a one armed bandit in the petroleum industry), here is a link to a fantastic video put out by Amsoil showing various things they put into a Falex Timken Bearing tester. Not pushing Amsoil. I don't use it. But this 6 minute video is interesting anyway..... do yourself a favor and watch the ENTIRE video. Especially the last product they test! ..... Put this on here, landstar8891, for some perspective to the link you posted. Let's see how the Falex testing put out there by MotorKote really looks when the test itself is evaluated....
