    I believe that most engines have a sensor set for 209 degrees. That allows the fan to come on prior to overheating takes place. Second.
    Fan can come on if there is not enough air passing through the condenser, could be plugged with cotton wood and other stuff like bugs and just dirt.
    Also It can be either low on freon or too much freon.
    it could be an air leak at the fan hub or the feed line to it.. That can cause it to run a lot and all the time too.I am leaning to the air leak to fan hub.
