they are slow as hell. bbtailing or 80k they take off just the same speed. I don't know why they bother to have a go pedal at all, should just be a go and stop button because the trans manages the fuel input so heavilly it doesn't respond to you at all.
It is jerky. for some reason from time to time (not infrequently) it jerks like crazy when taking off.
it really takes some practice to get used to backing it and it is VERY HARD to not slam the dock because if you let off the pedal to go slow it just clutches.
every time it rains I get a transmission fault light (just more BS electronics)

I wish I could swap that straight 10 in my truck for a super 10. I love that tranny. I can row one faster than a Kenyan on high speed chicken feed. Last truck I was in that had one was a '97 pete with 1,300,000 and change. Shifted smooth.

Ehhh, JMO but I'll stick with a straight 10 with OD. Would like like to have a Rockwell with cruse on the stick instead of the dash.

I will have to keep an eye on it then. I know there are some parameters you can set for efficiency etc. and as far as I know my truck is capable of being turned up to 550 and the speed govenor is set at 99. I know you are running company but I am wondering what their settings are. Do you think it would be worth while to turn up the engine or leave it at 475. I am interested in economy and I know the more ponies available to a point will help and past that point they are a waste..... decisions decisions.... I know as it sits now if you run 3/4 or less throttle she will shift at 1500 every time. Mash the pedal to the floor and she runs up to 2100 to shift.

While on the topic of 10 speeds is a RTLO 13610B 10sp a Super or a straight? It's supposed to be a OD the ratio is 3.90. Its being drivin with a Cummins M11 set at 280 hp.
Anybody have any experiance with the M11?
Thanks

WOW 280... that takes ya back. Last time I ran something in the 280 range was 10 years ago.... seems industry standard now is to give you more ponies to get the economy up..... I don't know a thing about the M11 so at your HP I am assuming it is mechanical?
