My wife & I go thru this with US Xpress. We've gone to pick up several loads, only to discover they're cancelled & the shipper had notified US Xpress way earlier. When we notify US Xpress, it can take several hours to sort it all out.

This happens to us often on the west coast. We don't mind it as much because typically this leads to us deadheading 500+ miles to our next pick up. Twice we deadheaded 1,200 miles !

Stuff happens. Usually it's the customer's fault. I've been to that bottled water place. They cancelled the load and didn't tell USX. Totally blew a 34 for me. You just have to be a professional and move on.

Destinations get changed sometimes. That's usually not a problem. Not sure why it would be one at Arnold.

I don't know the answer but have your work history information with you. They will go over it when you get there. It can be a pain in the ### if they can't verify your work history.

    Good luck !

Don't volunteer any information they don't ask for and you should be ok.I had a dui back in 2000 and it didn't create any problems.

Haven't posted in here in a good while lol. Hope everyone is doing well. I am still with USX, but thinking about leaving. I was running a dedicated lane from PA to NC/SC and then picking up in SC and coming back up to PA. Was classified as a Tour Truck, which is what I am still considered. I was averaging 2700 - 3100 miles a week. Got a new truck back in April, 2015 Pete. My other truck was about to hit 600k miles and they took it from me, but it was also starting to hit the shop non-stop. Anyway, I asked if we could just run some big miles with this truck to see how it does running 650+ miles a day. So I picked up a load from DE and headed to Laredo yard. Turned around there and came back up to VA. Ran some other runs and then took 4 days off for my daughters birthday, which I was out for 2.5 weeks prior to that. Ever since I got back on the truck, I have not had a good week. It has been 2 months and maybe 1 of the weeks I hit 2500 miles, but the rest were mainly 1700 miles. I feel like I am being punished for something, but I don't know what. I have never delivered a load late, in fact I am always asking if I can deliver early and pu the next load early. I would really hate to leave USX, because they have been very good to me and they are a good company, but I have a family to support and when someone working part time for minimum wage is making more then me, there is a problem. Anyone have any suggestions?

Call 423.510.3000 and ask to speak with HR. Explain to them what's going on.

Call the operator and ask for Misty. Pretty sure that's her name.
