Hello everybody, just a quick question for anybody who recently went through orientation. Is Us xpress doing a BMI test during orientation out of the shippenburg location? I'm planning on joining up beginning of July and plan on starting to exercise before I go but should I not lose some weight before then will I be sent home or required to have a sleep study done? I will pass everything else required and just worried about the BMI. Thanks
question about dot phyical during orientation

No BMI or sleep studies at USX. You have to duck walk under a 4 ft high table without so much as brushing the top, and climb up onto said table (there is one rung halfway up to help climb). Those would be the only issues depending on how big you are. I wasn't kidding about that duck walk. You get two shots. That old skank there thinks she saw a hair touch it, she's gonna tell you you have one more shot before going home. Get low and go slow.
zrb888 Thanks this. -
thanks, im not worried about the duck walk that much. i drove for crst for 10 months and had no problem duck walking under trailers. Crst orientation actually uses a trailer not a table during thier orientation.

They also have you do a few dance moves to see how you balance is as well. Try not to make any faces as Blanche will send you home ASAP.

If you can two step or cotton eyed Joe you'll be in like Flynn.

Duck walk for a 6 foot person weighting 400 is not going to be any fun at all

I've climbed into trailers before so. As long as the height is close to a real trailer I should be fine
