If their listening to drivers then you'd think it's through the DriverTech.
Ziegy Thanks this. -
Here's a couple pics of the device I'm talking about.

That's for blind spot alerting. The way the tape has it blacked out looks to me like someone was getting sick of the lights.

Thanks. That makes sense. I don't have that truck anymore anyway though. That was a 2013 Pete which I actually kinda liked (whenever I could keep it out of the shop) but the fifth wheel had to be replaced & it was gonna take a week for the dealership to get a new one. So they stuck me in an even older & much crappier 2011 Freightliner. So I'm on truck #3 in 3 months with the company. Not really complaining. I'm a 'go with the flow' kinda guy. Good news is, I just found out today that after my next load, I'm being routed to Tunnel Hill to get truck #4 as the one I'm in now is being traded/retired. So I'm crossing my fingers for one of those new Petes. Just wish they weren't autos.

They are NOT listening to you. If they were I would have been fired by now. That "mic" also has a similar look as the satellite receiver in my truck.
