Broke my heart when they were bought out. We were with them for almost 10 yrs. Only lasted 1 month with Celedon. Hated them. With Con-Way now. Think we r gonna buy a truck.... do our own thing.

I had only been with them for 2 months, but it broke my heart, too. I was trying to get away from the mega carriers (4+years with Swift) and I really liked Glen Moore. I'm being really careful with my research this time around. I want to be sure wherever I go next is somewhere I will stay.

I was with Glenmoore before yrc, they were the best company I had ever worked for.
I quit when yrc got them, because I figured yrc would sell them quick, but they had them longer than I thought. Celedon, that is really a tragic proposition. SCARY -
I worked for them for one month ( a month too long). They have absolutely no respect for drivers. They pay less for longer miles and they do not stand behind drivers. I won't get into it but advise you to stay away from them unless Celadon cleaned house completely. Each time you drive a longer load as mentioned you make less. So if you go from Mississippi-to Colorado, you make about 27 cents a mile. Maybe Celadon changed the system. -
As mentioned above-Glenn Moore was a bad company to work for-I lasted a month. It's good to see these bad companies go with the wind. Along with them were other bad companies I worked for-things eventually catch-up with them. Carretta, Priority, and Gleen Moore-I worked for all of them and they were all terrible and now defunct. -
I was driving for USF Glenn Moore when Celadon bought them out with no warning. I was stuck in Indianapolis the week before X-Mas. That was 10 months ago and I still haven't found a decent company to drive for. I mean I bounced around at Dancor and DeBoer for a few months here and there. THNX for nothing YRC Worldwide!
