    Great suggestion. I was thinking of putting in about 6 to 8 pieces of sponge around the the out side of the mirror #only because I used to right mirror and remote control, i use the right mirror a lot for backing up, I need to operate the mirror in question.

    I replaced the driver side mirror myself coz was winter and the electric defrost was not working no more.
    Just insert a screwdriver(carefully) under the big mirror and lift up. The mirror will come out and u can play all day long in the open shell. To put it back do the reverse. It's so easy (if is not winter time and u dont know what to do and your hands are freezing ice blocks).
