I would take it right back to the shop that has my 6500.00 and tell them I expect a whole lot better for 6500.00. Its pretty obvious they missed something. Its only been 4 days I'd make them make it right.
2007 Volvo Cummins ISX fan turns on with no reason. Can help anyone please.

Hi bubbanbrenda. I called the shop. The owner is friend of mine. He told me to bring the truck back, but i dont want them to look for the problem for another few days. I have to make money. Thanks.

Hi chopov78. Do you know the part number of the temperature sensor? I have changed one of them before. But i had different symptoms. Fan was turning on also but i had no power at all and black smoke from the exhaust. After replaced the sensor / i dont remember which one but cost me about $80/ it was one of the 3 sensors on the top of the engine. The biggest one. Thanks

i can't find the serial number, but this sensor is on top of the intake manifold, driver side, there are only two sensors bigger and by him there is a sign press(pressure),and smaller(in diameter)by him sign temp-the signs are stamped on the intake manifold by the sensors, you have to change the smaller one "temp".Open the hood get up on the driver side tire and look a little bit righr it is very clear thay are not hided betwin wires, there is nothing around them, they are only two of them there.
