there are two ways of bleeding
1. like on car - pumping down
2. Other - use old pump from bicycle, fill it with fluid and pump fluid upmhale0312 Thanks this. -
If you unbolt from tranny and zip tie it so bleeder is at top it will bleed just like brakes

use handpump to push fluid from underneeth, through slave cylinder bleeding valve.
-
It will help -
The vertical cylinder have the bleed fitting at the bottom then you have to remove it from the braket and turn it upside down to bleed it.
The recommanded method from Volvo is use an electrical pump (universel winshield washer fluid pump can do the job) and with a hose from the pump and connected to the bleed fitting on the slave cylinder push the (brake oil) from the bleed to the reservoir, when the reservoir is full close the bleed fitting and your system is bleed.
Note: If the pump is not able to push oil upward check if the spring is not broke on the clutch pedal, make sure the clutch pedal is full upward stroke before the process.
For the linkage adjustement with a vertical cylinder the threaded rod should past the yoke by 8mm (by memory).
Hope this can help, let me know what type of cylinder you have .
BenKB3MMX Thanks this.
