air dyer keeps on purging

Consideration? Them's fightin' words. You drive your truck, I'll drive/idle mine as I see fit. Too many drivers are thinking about themselves and want me to turn my truck off. Why, I haven't shut mine off since 2001. Back when drivers were drivers, they'd kick you in the hindquarters if you didn't idle and we showed respect about it. And don't get me going about the mega carriers.

The above was all sarcastic, of course.

 

Dont let them get to you....peeps are real quick to cast stones but if it were them with a similar issue, they wouldnt give a rats @*$ about what others think.....their only concern would be a solution to the problem before shelling out needless $$$

 

I too am experiencing a similar issue....my spit valve goes off every 8 seconds on my Cascadia Detroit which is not usual at all. In fact just started doin it two days ago. Was considering replacing air governor until I read what a gentleman just commented now I'm not sure anymore ugh.....

 

Usually if your dryer is spitting every few secs your guilted is full and needs replacing. If you already did that then I have no idea. Checking the other thing these drivers posted would be what I'd do. Could be a stuck valve. How is your air pressure holding up at idle? Also check into a bottle if air dry to run through your lines and tanks. Clean out some water, dirt and oil.
