    Volvo 780 cab bushings;
    I'm not saying this is your problem, just bought both for 110$ and have my mechanic replace both sides; after every 300-400k miles this are gone the cab starts shaking and my coffee flying all over on rough roads even with new shocks and good air ride;

    Here is an update on the problem. After spending a lot of money, I decide to swipe the wheels from a truck with no problems to the one was shaking. Of course that was running smooth. I end up finding that one rim has somehting ( is not bended or damaged) that makes the whole truck to shake. I replaced that rim and the truck runs perfect ( of course... after spending thousands of dollars on it)

    Yeah... I thought that I had thrashed a drive line once after getting stuck. Truck was shaking violently afterwards... mechanic knocks the mud from out of the rim... drives fine.
    Lesson: make sure that your tires and rims are clean and straight. It apparently makes a HUGE difference.
    IDK but I suspect that a good and even set of tread type makes a world of difference.

    Yeah, if you build up mud or ice on inside of rim, it throws the balance off. Going to shake and vibrate because of it.

    I was reading this whole post and was just about to tell you that the problem was clearly just a rim, and then you figured it out yourself. Oh well, I am just one of those folks that is gifted with 20/20 hindsight and a quick I told you so gene.

    Truthfully, I am glad you got your problem fixed and am thankful for your sharing this experience.

    Well my vnl670 was doing the same thing. Ended up replacing the spacer blocks on all 4 air spring hangers. $45.00 later and it is working fine. I too spent tons of money trying to figure this out until I had to replace a hanger. Parts were only $11.00 each at Volvo. I will know next time!

    Gah...this seams to be common with volvos... I have an 09 780 that has the same issues.
    So far...
    All tires replaced..
    All rims replaced.
    King pins replaced.
    new tires/rims balanced.
    Alignment done.
    U-joints checked...

    Next paycheck, something else will get checked.....I love this truck...but this vibration is driving me NUTS....
