The only Volvo trucks I've driven were the 780's, but I've seen the 770's and often wondered what the differences were between the two models aside from the 770 having inferior headlights.
Anyone mind sharing?

The 780 is the same truck as the 770 except the 780 has the newer updated hood, side skirts and interior cabinets. The exterior doors and sleeper body are identical. BTW, the headlights on the 770 work a lot better than the 780 style.
Stile Thanks this. -
I was playing about the headlights. Which of the two trucks would be more team friendly? I know 780's are pretty comfy, would a 770 have more or less storage area? -
From what the ol' bone said it would have less, the 780 has cabinets.

Stile Thanks this.

It ate into the storage space on the bottom driver side of the sleeper, but it was well worth the loss.
Thanks for clarifying on the cabinets and storage. -
Well my 770 has a OEM installed Norcold Fridge that I know is bigger and taller than any OEM Fridge installed in a 780, also it depends on the way the Customers spec out the cabinets that determines the available storage space.

Has anyone ever ordered a Volvo without the fridge? I sat in one and could not believe the lack of legroom in such a large cab. The fridge prevented the seat from moving further back.
