Cat motors in 1st gen VNL?

    I've seen a few older VNL's on truck trader with the 3406e motor but have never seen the 2nd gen trucks with anything but Cummins or Volvo power. Did they stop offering Cat power after 2003? I've thought it would be cool to have a Cat/Volvo combo.

    There is a CAT powered VNL Volvo at our parking yard. I do remember also seeing a detroit powered VNL.

    New ones are indeed Cummins ISX or VD series engines.
