Have a Volvo VN 2005 ISX when ttruck airs up air will not stop blowing.I ve jiggled the cover on the steering wheel no success. Check wire to air/solenoid on crossm member has continuos power. Volvo dealer ttells me the entire air bag module has to replaced and then programed with Volvo computer. Is this B S or what . I know there is a srs contact reel under the air bag. Is this what the probally really is ?? Or is there a contact ring for the air horn. Thanks in advance

Your HORN blows constantly? Find the horn, disconnect the air line to it, even if you have to cut it, and clamp the line off with vice grips. Or am I misunderstanding the problem?

Just the thing for going through downtown Chicago. Seriously, the horn button on the steering wheel must be shorting out, from all the coffee or soda (or worse) being spilled, or just worn. If it's not the button, there must be an electric to air relay under the dash or on the firewall that's stuck.

That's what its for isn't it? When its dry it gets lighter and the horn stops blowing which is of course how you know its done.
