[emoji3] well, try changing fuel filter housing. Its cheaper then set of injectors
-
Anyone know of dangers of driving with fuel filled to the top of the globe?
-
If filter fills up... You should be happy ... It's doing it's job and saving your engine from the crap in your fuel system !!!!! -
Oh... And the "fix" isn't going to a larger micron filter and letting all that crap get sucked through their injection system to cause wear and damage!! ...
.... The fix is CLEAN your fuel system out or keep charging filters until all the junk has been filtered out.
If you have black slime ... You need to hit it a couple times hard with fuel BioCide to kill the slime.
This is not the injector cleaner crap at a truck stop , it's one purpose biocide additive ... -
Buy a new filter 10 to 30usd and the tool ...
5 min jop to change it by your self
If you cant do it take a office job -
I have the same problem . My filter is full after 600 miles. No messages or lights on. This happened after constantly using of fuel system cleaner. I hope soon everything will be back to normal.
KB3MMX Thanks this. -
Last week I was changing filter twice a day. Getting 200 miles pert filter. I had put clear diesel in both tanks on 2 last fill ups. Then run tanks down to 1/4 tank. I think when ever you add any additive it will fill up filter. It supposed too it's foreign to the fuel sys.
-
I have fixed mine. Just clean you fuel tanks and everything will be back to normal. it cost me around $300

It's just crap in the fuel.
First use biocide heavily , followed by a good dose of a cleaner.
You'll go through a bunch of filters as they tap the bad crap from going to your 30,000 psi injectors and causing damage.
DO NOT use a higher micron filter , it will pass the crap onto the engine.
