What you don't want to be is working for a terrible paying company.
I worked for Shaffer, not there anymore but because they were bad.
Even with less than a year experience you'll get around .45 CPM with Shaffer and get the miles. -
Dude, where do you live ? Forget about being a job hopper. Do whatever it takes to get a paycheck.
Look into Crete & US Xpress. -
Who cares how you look if Crete will hire you. "fence jumper" is bs anyhow its family first if that was going with me and my wife I'd bail. If you're getting low balled which it looks exactly like that you need to say screw it and Werner hasn't paid you in 2 weeks. put in some apps or if you have call them back.
-
Thanks guys. I didn't know what I should do still being what I'd consider to be a rookie. Looks like I got some phone calls to make.
TruckDuo Thanks this. -
I can raise a hand and testify that a job which isn't sending you money is worth leaving. Will Werner let you turn over your truck at any Werner terminal or do you have to go back to your home terminal?
-
A lot of companies have a terminal in or near Atlanta. You could do orientation at one of them then by the end of Friday tell us the good news when your in a new companies truck.

Leave and don't go to another crap company....problem solved.

Forget Werner start with the next company and not wanting to be a fence jumper.
The_Dude Thanks this. -
I don't think anybody on this site would have told you Werner is a great company and they pay well lol.
