Truck drivers have a tough profession that demands life dedication to hauling freight over the road. Over the road trucking requires drivers to spend weeks on their route until they finally return home. Seasoned truckers know that it takes a special person to continue this profession long term, mainly because of the stresses every driver encounters. Truck drivers face incredible amounts of stress, tribulation, temptation, and loneliness. Due to the long hours away from home, many drivers feel lonely and out of touch with society. Truck stops help drivers recuperate physically, and may also help rejuvenate their psyche. In fact, many drivers develop long-lasting friendships at truck stops.
Over the road trucking can tear families apart. Many drivers become overwhelmed by their loneliness and may succumb to temptation. This preys on the psyche of truckers who try to live a religious life. Over the road trucking makes it difficult to find a permanent and suitable place of worship. Fortunately, truckers can find their place of refuge in a portable church located in one of many truck stops across the nation. Many church organizations sponsor truckstop ministries to ease the hardship of a trucker’s lifestyle. Truckers can find a portable church with a chaplain ready to deliver a sermon at specific times. Truckstop ministries help truckers by connecting them to a positive person who can offer counsel to the many troubles they face while on the road.

A mobile church seeks to minister to the physical and spiritual needs of truck drivers. Other travelers can visit a mobile church while on the road. Due to the sheer amount of semi truck driving vehicles on the roads, many facilities have provided pastoral care to meet the extraordinary needs of those risking their lives to deliver the goods needed to keep the economy afloat. The nation relies on efficient semi truck driving to supply warehouses and other terminals with commodities. Therefore, it remains imperative that truckers can find time to unwind and worship at a nearby mobile church.

Hi,
Our church is located at the crossroads within seeing distance of several truck stops in Virginia. We have truckers that find us for worship on Sundays all along and we are so happy to have them join us. Our Pastor and the congregation would like to get the Word out more widespread that we would like invite them to worship with us when in the area. We also have an excellent area for parking. We are located at exit 104 Carmel Church in Virginia. Our church is Carmel Baptist and located at 24320 Jefferson Davis Hwy., Ruther Glen, VA 22546. Worship is Sunday at 11 am. Come as you are! (And we really mean that!) Call 804-448-2956 for more details.

Dear fellow Chaplains and Ministers
I would like to introduce myself and our church, My Name is Pastor Bob Sauter “Preacher” and our church is CDL Drivers church of delivery. It is a conference room church that drivers call in on there cell phones and hear the word of God, every Sunday at 10:30 central time. It is live and interactive we are a full gospel church spirit filled. Our web site is http://WWW.CDLDRIVERSCHURCHOFDELIVERY.ORG it’s a place where drivers can be part of a church without physically being present where they can be a part of a church. Your Chapels are great but once they come to the lord the need a stable church and we know the cant always get back to the same place. As a Driver and former Chaplain and Pastor its important to get fed by local church, as drivers that’s near impossible. God inspired our church with the help of 3 other drivers encouraging to listen to God and start our church so in August of 2017 we formed CDL Drivers Church of Delivery.
We have a congregation of around 100 drivers that are part of this body of Christ. I preach the word of God every Sunday and the Lord moves. My wife and I have been in the ministry since 1995 and love sharing Gods Word . Our motto is CDl Christ delivers Life. We are taking the message into the highways.
So for those that are needing a church we are here…
Thank You
Pastor Bob Sauter
