Class A Dedicated Flatbed Local Shuttle Position 3rd Shift
Local CDL Truck Driver - Flatbed
NO SAP DRIVERS
Minimum Requirements: (Please be sure you meet the requirements below)
Hiring Area: 50-mile radius of Lafayette, IN
Pay: $28/hour; $1,540 a week at 50 hours a week
Lanes: Moving Gen-Sets from plant to Kepner Dr, Lafayette, IN, with occasional runs to surrounding locations
Miles: N/A - Local shuttle
Schedule: 50 hours/week; 3rd Shift: Thursday night-Monday night (Tuesday and Wednesday nights off) 10pm - 6 am
Home Time: Home Daily
Equipment Types: Step decks primarily, occasionally flatbed (double drop)
Freight Types: Engines, generators, radiators, etc. Live load and unloads
Truck Speed: Governed at 65
Bonus: New hire transition bonus $500-paid in full on second paycheck
Parking: Onsite

- Must have a valid Class A license
- Must have at least 1 year with 6 months verified flatbed of verifiable tractor-trailer experience hauling at least a 45' trailer in the last 3 years
- Must have 6 months securement training including chains and binders
- Must be available to work weekends
- Must live within 50 miles of Lafayette, IN to apply

- Overtime (time and a half) over 40 hours (drivers have potential to earn overtime during the week on weekends
- Weekend hours vary depending on needs of the plant. Schedule is given to us from customer on Thursday
- Drivers will attend orientation in Atlanta
- Not a slip seat position (is subject to change)
