EpicVue+, the In-cab trucking entertainment and communications provider’s newest platform, combines DirecTV with fleet communications & driver training solutions without requiring satellite hardware installation. Announced at the Truckload Carriers Association’s annual conference, EpicVue+ delivers DirecTV’s live & on-demand premium content, a dedicated fleet channel, and an interactive training platform that carriers can brand to provide exclusive content to drivers.
“With EpicVue+, we’ve eliminated expensive hardware and lengthy contracts, and it offers more than just TV,” said Lance Platt, EpicVue CEO. “Our revolutionary new platform is designed specifically for truck fleets, allowing drivers to enjoy home entertainment while staying connected with their carrier. It’s easy to install in tractors, and promotes job satisfaction, stronger employee connections, and enhances their ability to attract and retain drivers through entertainment, education, and engagement.”
Previous EpicVue required a satellite system and a 5-year commitment, but the new version relies on internet connections and an inexpensive system connecting to in-cab TVs. As a bonus, drivers don’t need to set a DVR, as EpicVue provides 100 channels of content recorded for them, so they never miss their favorite shows.
