A former insurance agent is guilty of stealing at least $174,000 from truckers. She was found guilty on multiple counts after she took money from trucking companies for insurance premiums, but never actually paid that money to insurance companies.
Connie Free, a 34-year-old from Moreno Valley, California ran an “insurance company” operating as Justyce Insurance and Pure Justyce Insurance Agency. She targeted small business truckers and owner-operators who had recently had their operating authority revoked for not having sufficient insurance. She advertised low-cost insurance coverage, undercutting her competition significantly.
If they signed up with her, Free would send truckers fraudulent Certificates of Insurance and insurance ID cards to make them believe that an account had been opened for them. When truckers would send her their premium payments, she would pocket the money instead of sending it on to an insurance company.
For her crimes, Free has been found guilty of one misdemeanor and 22 felony counts including grand theft and forgery. In addition to paying restitution to her victims, Free has been sentenced to 180 days in jail, 180 days of work release, with the rest of her 5-year sentence to be served under probation.
“This agent robbed truck drivers who already have some of America’s hardest jobs,” said Insurance Commissioner Ricardo Lara according to a press release from the California Department of Insurance. “This unlicensed agent not only stole from her clients, she put them at risk of losing their livelihood.

So we citizens get billed for her detention for 180 days of her detention while she sits on her backside. The Constitution still allows for indentured servitude for criminals. She should be placed in forced labor until she restores what she took from the individuals… 3 times the amount. Even if it takes the rest of her life. That is the Biblical form of justice. Put a leg tracker on her, put her in a job where she will keep just enough to survive on and all the rest goes to the victims. Doesn’t matter if it takes her 30 years to repay the victims.
Well the owners of Baldwin Trucking now called Baldwin Express did the exact same thing and got away with it in 2011ish. So she was really foolish.
Did i mention that there in Amarillo Texas and they also now have BBB ratings. So don’t believe the nonsense of the BBB they will give it to anyone.

180 days is not nearly enough! She’s doing a day for every $1000 she stole. They should make her do a day for every $10 she stole from hard working drivers trying to feed their families.
Before she goes to prison, the trucker’s wives should be allowed to beat the piss out of her.

It’s White Privilege!! From the cops,to the judge and all that’s in between..bottom line .Any black,or brown skin individual would have been sent to Prison!! She will probably go to the modified single luxury unit. She will have a leather recliner, a sofa, a small dining table, a 20 inch TV, etc. People who steal chewing gum get more time than that.

That the truckers fault for not checking on there coverage through the underwriter I drove for 45 years saw slot of stupid truckers they bought stuff unseen and get taken to the bank lot of crap out there some learn some don’t there hard at work don’t under stand the hard part easiest job there is

22 felonies and 1 day in jail for every thousand she stole? sign me up for that paycheck!!
