Iconic Mack Trucks is getting a head start on its 2024 calendar, opening its entries from March 15 through April 15. Truckers and fans of the brand will have an opportunity to vote for their favorite images from April 1-30.
“This calendar contest is a fun way for Mack owners and operators to show what makes the connection with the Mack brand so special,” David Galbraith, Mack vice president of global brand and marketing, reportedly stated. “The passion and attachment they have to Mack trucks is remarkable and demonstrates why this company remains so important to the trucking industry 123 years after its founding.”
The next annual publication is expected to feature some changes. Perhaps the most interesting will be the inclusion of videos for a digital version. These are other nuances for interested Mack Truck owners and operators to consider.
- Photos with a dog will be used to celebrate Mack’s sponsorship of the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA). They automatically earn 100 bonus points.
- Video entries that include a dog receive 175 bonus votes.
- Bonus Vote Days will be held on Mack’s social media platforms. Special promotions have been planned, and daily votes could count for double or even triple points.
- All entries are eligible to be promoted to Mack’s 600,000-plus followers across its social channels.
The Mack Truck calendar contest is limited to vehicles that are currently being used in the industry. Antique and collector Mack’s are not necessarily eligible unless they are used in a working fleet.
