With more than 300,000 YouTube subscribers, Angelica Larsson ranks among the world’s most popular trucking industry’s online “influencers.” The 31-year-old Swedish trucker earns upwards of $6,000 monthly from her Vlog, more than twice what she makes as a freight hauler.
Videos and posts about Larsson’s trucking lifestyle garnered more than 334,000 Instagram followers since 2014. Back then, she posted fitness tips. It was abundantly clear at the time people were more fascinated with her truck driving career and travels. Pivoting to primarily trucking messaging, she hopes her digital footprint will inspire other women to pursue similar freight and logistics careers.
“In Europe overall, like in Bulgaria or Russia, there are not many girls driving. I have a lot of followers from outside Sweden,” Larsson reportedly said. “I’m a small girl who drives big trucks. Ten years ago, that wasn’t so common. It’s important for them to see that girls can drive trucks, too.”
Larsson is not the only one leveraging her professional lifestyle online. Recent reports indicate the most popular truckers on YouTube, TikTok, Twitter, and Instagram, can earn upwards of $4,000 in a given month. Female trucker Adryana Oltean enjoys more than 1.5 million TikTok followers and Alex Nino amassed more than 1.1 million on the platform. Aspiring Long Beach, California, actress and singer Jasmin De Loa has nearly 1 million TikTok followers and can earn more than $900 for a single post. She uses her trucking endeavors as a backdrop for lively videos. Along with these trucking personalities, the following YouTubers are worth following.
