A trucker is reporting that two armed men tied him up and stole two trucks with loaded trailers from a pallet yard in Fontana, California at just before midnight on Wednesday.
The unidentified trucker was in his trailer when he heard voices outside. He opened the door of the trailer and was faced with two armed men. They forced him to the ground at gunpoint and was bound by his hands and feet with zip ties.
Taking the trucker’s cell phone with them, the robbers then stole two trucks, each with a loaded trailer and fled the scene.
Police are still investigating the incident and are asking anyone with information to contact the Fontana Sheriff’s Station at (909) 356-6767, provide an anonymous tip at the We-Tip Hotline at 1-800-78-CRIME (27463) or leave information on the We-Tip website at www.wetip.com.
The theft comes just as FreightWatch is warning drivers about the increased risk of theft during Thanksgiving week.

Looks like a bogus story to me …..driver was in his trailer ?….never heard this on the TV news
Unless it’s a typo and supposed to say “truck” instead of “trailer”, why would you be in the trailer with the doors closed?
That’s what I thought. Also the guy maybe part of the heist team. They should be able to track it fairly easy.
Most trucks are tracked anyway. Sounds like an inside job.
Dot arrived to investigate after local Pd and asked to see log book first
LOL…. Which would be in the stolen truck.
Sort of looks likes there’s a Pallet war going on in the area. http://abc7.com/news/firefighters-knock-down-massive-blaze-at-pallet-yard-in-san-bernardino/1589120/
“In his trailer”???? Yeah right….
My tractor doors stay locked at night if I am taking my “10”….voices outside or whatever. Hang the Qualcomm out the passenger window and roll up the window!!
California gun laws at their best,
Guns are nearly outlawed,
Only the outlaws had guns.
In texas, if I hear voices at midnight, right hand on gun, left hand on flashlight.
It’ll all stay friendly when I figure out who they are.
Yes why would the trucker be in his trailer , or maybe he was checking his load
Or maybe putting his load bars in,
