ArkTA is your fastest and most economical choice to move you into a new and exciting commercial truck driving career. Our program is made possible by an Arkansas Regional Workforce grant, which means our program will save you thousands of the cost of a private trucking academy. In a matter of weeks, you can have a commercial driver’s license (CDL) and the skills needed to be employed and earning competitive wages in the field of transportation.

New classes begin monthly. The inaugural class will start August 16, 2021.

Through the use of virtual/simulation instruction, traditional classroom, and practical over-the-road instruction, students will receive 160 contact hours of non-credit training per course. Successful completion of the course will prepare students to test for their Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).

A total of 20 courses will be offered annually, 5 courses per college. Slots are limited to 4 students per course so don’t wait! Take the first step and apply today!
