Flip flop dress code

How about touching the roller dogs with your bare hand after taking a crap and not washing your hands? We should fight back on that

was upstate NY back in the '70's. got a ticket for driving barefoot.

may have been a hippie rousting though. long hair, high, driving slow out in the middle of nowhere.

No flipflops here, but if you see me wearing pants you can bet they will be sweat pants or track pants (unless at a place that requires jeans) however 20f is still shorts weather for me so that's not too common. Even below 20f if it's sunny and there's no wind, I just don't get cold easily but I do overheat easily.

Think there was a picture of me a few years ago in a facebook group walking across a truckstop lot in shoes, shorts, and hoodie during a heavy snowstorm.

 

I think when I was a kid it was illegal in Minnesota too .
Driving around with an open beer was no biggie tho .lol

 

Remember when drivers wore button up shirts at work?

 

I’m a dry van guy most of the time and for me the less miles and more rate is were it’s at I have truck trailer paid for my biggest expenses are truck wash and family currently but since having the equipment payed for for almost 3 years I have been able to slow my roll and wait for better rates than killing my self and equipment by running those 3k week a week.

 

But back to the topic
I have to agree do what you want in the cab and be professional out of the cab. mans you can still present a professional image while wearing flip flops it just takes spending a little more money when buying outfits that’s all

Well here is at least one good reason not to wear flip flops:

CDC - Strongyloides
