Help fighting a ticket

was it winchester rest area

 

Not an expert, but didn't know they give points on non-moving violations.

 

i got one at the winchester rest area once. my state see's it as the same as running a red light.

 

no because the va trooper wrote it as a civil violation. i was parking on the on ramp just pass the concrete in the gravel. he wrote me as the same thing you got. cost me a $135 total online. but my state see's it as disobeying a official traffice device. va see's it at disobeying a official sign. so its always about what your home state see's it as on your dmv
