Found this picture from Sept, 1975. l would put my cat on the ground and she would take care of business and when l called her back she came running like an obedient dog. When we were at home, l would call her and she would do a military about face and walk away.

I was transferring home heating fuel from one plant to another plant. It was 20 below zero and at least 30 mph winds. It had to be 60 below with the wind chill. Fuel looked like pudding. No transfer today. I told the boss either I quit or I’m going home. He said what’s the problem from his cushy desk. I said it’s freezing out here. I went home. Frost bite and all
