Roehl refer drivers!

Most of our outbound freight comes out of the twin citys so getting home for home time wont be hard. Might even get through the house every week if you really wanted. Im sitting in our yard in coon rapids right now. .47 a mile to start and up to 8.5 cpm in monthly bonus pay that is reasonably easy to get. Personally I aint going nowhere for a while. It aint perfect, and its still reefer but it aint that bad either.

I hope I'm making the right decision. Roehl hired me for refer. They claim they barely do overnight driving. I've never heard of that before with refer. I'm not sure if it's in my best interest to wait for things to go back to "normal" or go to this orientation Monday. I'm waiting on unemployment decision. I qualify. I think most people do right now. I don't want to sit at home doing nothing but the unemployment may pay more than Roehl. I've been having companies call me and say "i received your application but we're not hiring right now, we'll keep it on file" they claim it's because of covid. This week K&B and Roehl offered me employment and K&B's reviews were so bad i declined. Roehl though...facing camera until i prove I'm a responsible driver. This will be my 3rd company in 14 months if i go to orientation Monday. I'm not liking this jumping around at all. I backed into another semi last June. That's why I'd have the camera with Roehl. I wonder if i should wait for unemployment and find a company in June when that incident is a year old. I'd appreciate some unprejudiced, honest advice. I'm the farthest from a lazy person. Not trying to get out of work. Just want some ideas. I want to make sure I'm making the right decision for myself. Thanks
Also, is there an decrease in safety right now? I keep getting alerts of trucking robberies.

Keep looking. Far to many driver friends where sold on the recruiters speal, but we're sorely disappointed.

More drivers quit than get hired. If they hired no one eventually they would have no drivers because they all quit.
