A brand new machine in that photo.
We have had damaged windows to our excavators from low boy trailers that don’t have fenders over the tires.
The rear most axle (which is a lift axle) is the one that throws the stones.
We lift the rear axle on gravel roads, no damage since.not4hire, FoolsErrand and asphaltreptile311 Thank this. -
HoneyBadger67, shawnhhllc and Shawn2130 Thank this.

Glass protection is a metal shield specifically made for these machines.
A factory option.
Protects against flying objects while in transport and vandalism. -

Cat sdp: that’s true. I forgot that part.
I was thinking they each come with that. -
I'm not sure about Rinaudo, but where I'm at, we carry a 4x3(?) tarp that is 2 layers of canvas with padding in the middle. Takes about 1 min and 4 bungees to save yourself from most heartaches. Stows away nicely as it rolls up about the size of an average pillow. That's what I was referring to.not4hire, shawnhhllc, Landincoldfire and 1 other person Thank this.
