Traffic was actually quite minimal. I took 695 to I-70. There was two crashes there though, a truck jacknifed on the 695 north ramp.. and a 4 wheeler slid into the ditch on I 70.
Well, I live in kentucky.. the furthest west I've ever gone is dallas, TX.. and the furthest east I've ever been was Cincinnati, ohio.. until yesterday.x1Heavy Thanks this. -
I understand.
Family in maryland says they have been locked down still so the traffic patterns would not be normal and pretty much as you stated. These are not normal times. I understand west coast roads are so wide open people are taking the cars too fast. -
That's pretty much what I have heard too.. that CHP has issued 80% more speeding tickets than last year, and the majority of them was for triple digit speeds.x1Heavy Thanks this.

East coast is Lake Erie and west coast is Lake Michigan
Short Fuse EOD and x1Heavy Thank this. -
Ok, I don’t mind you saying that about Beirut on the Bay, but leave the eastern shore out of it. That’s MD’s Dixie.

I have always thought the "East Coast" was basically east of I-75 from Atlanta to Its intersection of I-40 then on to I 81 all the way to NY. I also have heard it described as a point 150 miles west of I 95 eastward.
x1Heavy Thanks this. -
Depends on where you are. When I was in Oregon many locals considered my home state of Arkansas to be "East Coast."
