Thanks - good to be back. Always enjoyed this thread and have made a great friend too. Truth be told with the truck gone I feel like a bystander again.

I thought that might happen. The timing was strangely in your favor though.

You’ve got lots of knowledge to impart, and things have a way of working out as they should.

    Stick around a while.

In the recent past, I've had good luck with them until recently. I just went to four vendors for a grill insert and a boxed end, 20" bumper. One of the vendors was a local chrome shop who had rediculously expensive prices. Of the three major online retailers, The Big Rig Chrome Shop beat the other two by $275 on the bumper.

Nothing like having your truck in a hundred parts . . .

CAC tested bad - leaking all over. 5th wheel while we’re at it. Every hose and line while we’re in there.

Reman the fan clutch - reseal the front cover . . .

    What better time than now?

Resealing the front cover? Check that bull gear while you’re in there. Looks like your blowing your annual maintenance budget in one month, and it all started with just a bumper, right?

    You got it!

Well - it started with the quick connect flag brackets - quickly escalated from there.

Front cover is not cracked, that’s good news. Bull gear is fine, replaced at previous owners overhaul.
