Do you think dot will give me trouble for this? The part of the airlines that will be moving are in the air but at the bottom left you can see the other end just sitting there. They will not be rubbing against the catwalk but I know how dot is.

Un hook the light cord and twist it around the air lines once or twice to take up its slack or pull it up a few inches and zip-tie it to air lines.

I know they can definitely write it up if the shows signs of being chaffed. I would be willing to bet that if you were dot'd they would tell you they need to be gotten off of the catwalk so as to avoid chaffing.(not sure if i spelled that correctly). So yea best bet is to be proactive and pull up the slack at the line holders or wrap them in a way that keeps em off the catwalk.

Carry a bunch of large zip ties that come in handy for holding up airlines including the ones underneath the trailer.

Washington will get you too. Years ago, fellow tanker got hit for it at the scale. LOL, I drove by while he was stopped there. Sorta think he must have smarted off, cause it was the same three staters manning those scales all the time and I never had an issue with them. But for "some reason" they decided to do a full inspection on that driver and his rig.
We all had to get that plastic wrap on our hoses shortly there-after.
