Should Truckers be allowed self defense?

Illinois you can carry in your vehicle if you have a concealed carry permit from another state I think

 

Depends on the state. For instance, my North Carolina permit is valid in IL, but if I was a CCW holder from South Carolina or Georgia, I would not have reciprocity. I would also have to stay out of Cook County.

 

any concealed carry permit from a state lets you carry in the car only in Illinois you can't carry outside of the car without Illinois permit

 

Do i understand you to be saying. A cop from any state. Allows you to carry inside a vechile in any state? Please clarify because I must have misunderstood you. Cause that ain't right.

 

As I figured, some of you don't have a clue to your rights or how certain states infringe on them.

You automatically assume every driver should be given a gun to protect whatever load he/she is hauling. That is absolutely NOT what its about. Its about the right to protect yourself by whatever means necessary. I will take every advantage I can to do that. Carrying and knowing how to use a firearm for that purpose gives me an advantage over the would be thief that wants to rob me/do me harm.

I swear some of you are incapable of rational thought. We have a constitutional right to keep and bare arms. There should be no exception to that.
