    Bump the cruise up to fast idle, usually runs.
    Just hit cruise accel I think it is, it should raise RPMs up.

    Put the fire extinguisher on the throttle. What could possibly go wrong. I have used an 18" crescent wrench too.

    You all have some "creative" solutions to this situation. Creativity should not even be a part of this scenario. It is SUMMERTIME! it is HOT! I can not fathom the fact that a Company as large as Western Express would cook/freeze their drivers. The White Volvo crowd in Chicago.........now that is a different story. Farmer John, please contact your DM, DL, Dispatcher, Fleet Leader,.......whatever "that guy" is refered to with your company. You really shouldn't need a fire extinguisher, crescent wrench, it an Engineering Degree to use your A/C or Heat when parked on your 10 hour break! : )

    Have you called your safety people? Ask why other WE trucks can idle for A/C and you can't. Tell them you are not getting enough sleep and you don't want to drive fatigued.
