What if it Snows?

Went to the local grocery store tonight and y'all should've seen all the commotion! Aunt Jemima, Mrs. Butterworth, and Uncle Ben were protesting their removal, Texas Pete and Capt. Morgan were getting drunk, Little Debbie was working the corner, and Jimmy Dean was showing everybody his sausage. The whole world has gone crazy. Somebody call Mr. Clean!!

Yeah honestly, that's pretty much what I was doin, but I guess people took it personal and that was not really my intention. My idea of the trucking business was folks having a certain amount of thick skin and able to take things with a grain of salt and crack some laughs. Thanks for the words @lovesthedrive

I was thinking back before this “No child left behind bs” where they can’t fail students at schools anymore to a sign that hung in one of my classes, it read,
“Time will pass, But will you?”
I guess that would offend too now.


Things I used to do in school now I don’t guess you would even get wrote up for, like the teacher that once woke me up and said, “You know you can’t sleep in my class.”
To my reply, “Not now, but if you talked a bit quieter I could.”

You probably won’t even get detention..

This brought back a memory from many moons ago. I went to vocational school, auto mechanics, my last two years of high school. One of our instructors was a vet from WW2, no nonsense type of dude. Above the tool crib hung a sign, RTFM. No one dared ask what that stood for, but the suspense was killing us. Finally, one day, one fellow asked what that stood for.

Our instructor said, "You see that car over there on the lift." Yeah, what about it. "It's been two days now and you boys are still working on it." Yeah, but what's that got to do with the RTFM sign. "Well, if you boys would have Read The ###### Manual it would have been finished by now."
