I just got my most recent direct deposit. $1,450 take home, running locally. Yes I ran my butt off like my life depended on it, lol. Still... my gross has to be something like $1,800. I haven't gotten my pay stub yet. I was home every night.

Update: So I'm at 0.47 cpm now. Just got done with my last payperiod, around $1800 week. Next pay period, I'm aiming for $2,100 a week. I'm getting around 3,500-4,500 / miles a week.

@reefertank
You get 5,000 miles a week? Is this possible on ELD logs, or is this a TYPO error?

HOLY MOSES!! That was a LOT of driving, about a quarter of a million miles a year. WOW!!

In the past, there were truck drivers that told me that various trucking companies do NOT let the truck drivers decide whether or not to stop at 8 hours, (noting mandatory 30 minute break), to avoid 34 hour resets.

Yeah that's nuts. Back then there were no where near the amount of highways, many of those miles were on 35-45mph roads, and most of the traffic was going 50-60mph on the interstate everywhere. On ramp merging traffic was always slow as hell 30-45mph and the biggest highways were 2 lanes each way.
No wonder most of the truck drivers were jacked up on pills or worse and it's not surprising that many many truck drivers just stayed in the left lane all day long.MidwestResident Thanks this. -
I don’t know man, 3,500+ miles a week is doable but but not every week. You gotta account for the appointment, detention and road conditions.

that’s how SNI rolls. You have huge windows to make it to your appointments and from what I heard they want you to at least use 7 of the 11 hrs of drive time if possible depending on your 14.

Upwards. I haven't gotten to 5,000 and likely never will, but its possible for me to hit 4,500 miles a week on e-log.MidwestResident Thanks this.

PAM starts you off at 300 dollars ish a week in training , then .30 per mile for first 3 months, then .35 cpm after 3 months.
I think only drivers at Pam that may make okay money are driver mentors and people on certain dedicated routes. In fact the mentors just got a pay raise that they should give to their normal employees to make a fair wage.
My paychecks with Pam are almost always 300 something and sometimes 400 something
which is actually slightly more than I was making biweekly at my highest paying job previously in 2017 but all that means is I've been poor my entire adult life ..
