    Hi,

Im heading back home Monday and my dispatcher left it up to me to find somewhere to park the trailer and I need a lock so that nobody steals the trailer; my mom doesn’t have a vehicle and I don’t really wanna ask anyone to pick me up, so I’m gonna bobtail just 5 miles even though my dm apparently wants them together

    Best regards, John

Separating a trailer when on the street is a good way to find it gone.Good Luck with that. I would take a UBER.

Most of the big truckstops sell kingpin locks. But they are el-cheapo and fall right off with a big hammer...

A Towing company might have some place to park it behind a fence, not sure what that would cost...

I might rethink leaving your trailer' If someone wants to tow it a tow company can & will tow it lock or no lock

If I understand this correctly, it's a good way to find yourself another job.

DO NOT GO AGAINST what your company says about separating the equipment.

you can actually be SUSPECT # 1 if anything gets broken into or stolen.

call for a cab, Uber, Lyft, or yeah, a friend.
