Dont work for Valley Transportation Grand Meadows Minnesota

I would like to find out more about this company. I'm looking at getting into this division in the industry. I've got some experience. Would like to know about home time

Last I can recall, most companies out here don’t have a policy to pay for your ride home. A few even had it spelled out in their policies in writing that if a driver was terminated they are responsible for their own transportation home.

 

Worked for them as a company driver a long time ago. They don't get you home
every weekend...….maybe every three weeks or so. But when you get home they let
you stay for awhile...….they won't hound you to go back out.

Decent equipment....shop wasn't to bad. They used to run mostly John Deere
out of Waterloo IA......going to Florida or California......sugar cane farms or the
produce valley.

The only complaint I had was back than they used to make a lot of "mistakes" on
the payroll.....always in their favor. They would make it right...….eventually. Never
offered to pay extra for my being inconvenienced by them making "mistakes" They
paid every two weeks......sometimes it went several pay cycles till I finally got paid
in full.

Decent company but watch your paystubs real close.

 

Any company that has constant payroll errors is an automatic red flag in my book. Sounds like a classic case of “robbing Peter to pay Paul”!
