Hi first timer here. Let me explain what happened because I’m unsure what will happen to me
I’m a Schneider driver, heading south on I-95 in MA, State trooper pulled me over going 62 on a 45, ( yes I know stupid, but I didn’t notice since everyone else was going 60 ) The trooper just gave me a inspection report, no ticket, but on the report it states that the reason why I got an inspection was because I went 62 on a 45. I had no idea about the whole CSA and PSP points stuff. But I have 30 points now even if it was a warning. Can someone tell me what happens from here? I have to call my DBL tomorrow and tell them what happened.
Im not sure what’s going to happen to me?

17 over - probably not going to be good.
Never take a warning - demand a citation. Citations you can fight - warnings no, but still collect CSA points.Sirscrapntruckalot, farmerjohn64, cke and 3 others Thank this. -
Just eat a bag of chips for going 62 in a 45.
lovesthedrive and Rideandrepair Thank this. -
Did he do an inspection on your truck, and if so, was it level 3, 2 or 1? It should be listed on the inspection report. If the inspection was clean, I personally wouldn't worry about the speeding part. That being said, if you are planning to drive, you had better start paying attention to road signs.
Luck in battle.Flint1, Sirscrapntruckalot, farmerjohn64 and 4 others Thank this. -
It was a DOT 3 Inspection, I came out clean and he didn’t make me sign it. And yes it won’t happen again, I hear it’s common in that area aswellRideandrepair Thanks this.

CSA points do not affect the driver , it’s just the company that gets the points. Every company has their point system and when you reach a certain point they give you an intervention like you’re a druggie or Alcoholic.
Lumper Humper Thanks this. -
I’ll take that, I deserve it, I just don’t know the company policy in regards to that. Doing 15 and over give Schneider 30 points I’m unsure what that intails, and good thing I’m neither one of thoseRideandrepair Thanks this.

Points will go on your PSP and also on the companies CSA.
Trucker61016, D.Tibbitt and Rideandrepair Thank this.
