Some places you go to you need not only a washout but sanitation. They tape a paper on the inside of the trailer and the loader takes it off when hes loading.
Dont know what kind of freight the other guy was hauling but it wasnt high value product. Thats if (and a big if) hes telling the truth.
We had a regular beef processor who wouldnt let trucks enter without a washout paper. Chicken places needed a washout plus disinfectant.

Down side...Yeah 65 sucks!!! Zip to Zip pay, but we can run the big roads even if it adds miles to the trip. On a 3000 mile week I may have 3150 or so on the Odometer.
Then again I used to drive for Monson Trucking in a International Cabover that was governed at 61!!LOLBro_Dave, Need4Speed, Trucker61016 and 1 other person Thank this. -

You must have been there the same time I was...It looks like you had one of the last cabovers. -
I was there from 1991 to 2007. I had a couple of those darn cabovers. I was on the shore when Mark turned them down. If I remember right it was 50mph. Lol. I do remember that we couldn’t even run in 9th. RPMs were to high in 8th and to low in 9th. It sucked.
I was so excited when we got our hoods. I remember thinking how big the sleepers were. Lol.
I drive for Evans and I go to Canada all the time. It’s still pretty crappy north of Grand Marais but they are doing a bunch of work up there this year. Gonna be pretty awesome.
My handle was “Lost and Found” Eric Lindeau. I’m sure I knew ya! Small world. Lol. Have a great weekend.drh72 Thanks this. -
