Well the ole ford is makin some kind of noise. From bout 40 on up to 65+ makes a high pitch whine. Drove it to the office and back to drop off some paperwork and then pulled it into the shop to check stuff.

Jacked it up and spun the front tires and they rotate separately so I know the hubs are unlocking like they are supposed to and felt for slack in a wheel bearing and didn't find anything. Felt the front diff and its cool as a cucumber so its not engaged while moving either.

Almost sounds like an idler pulley bearing squeal but its not rpm dependant.

Everything by feel checks out other than maybe a brake shield rubbing and I didn't see it.

Prolly take it to the tire store to have the tires checked and balanced again and see if I see anything there. Ever since I got it out of the shop from putting gears in its had a shake that I believe is one tire that took alot of weight I had put on the rear has ended up on the front.
