I was 59. Been driving over a year now. No problems with age! I do tend to be very careful when it's dark. I can still see in the dark ok, but not as good as I used to I think.
I find the age situation in many ways a benefit. Being older, I have patience, don't get flustered because things don't go to plan or unexpected events create problems.
