Uber fired me

Okay, now you can knuckle down and get that CDL.

 

As an independent contractor with Uber, you had no rights as an employee. What's done is done. Leave it behind you and look toward to your future and focus on that. Besides...there are 100's of gig hustles you can do to tide you over.

 

My only advice to you is, when you get to Swift for your Schooling/ Training, mind your P's and Q's. Dress appropriately, DO NOT get in any " clique" that inevitably forms in those situations. DO NOT share any PERSONAL INFORMATION with the other students. Keep to yourself and speak when spoken to. Remember, you are embarking on a 3 week JOB INTERVIEW! Those instructors have dealt with hundreds if not thousands of douchebags that come through those doors EVERY WEEK. They know who they are dealing with. Depending on your class size, a handful will wash out pretty quick. Failed drug test ( I know, hard to believe, but it happens.) Bad attitudes, etc. Be the quiet one in your class and focus on the assignments. The instructors know who the good students are too. Good luck and keep us posted on your progress.
