How'd you get into that club

 

My son did at IP in Howell Mi. Few years some woman that worked in the plant thought she ran the place. He went back weeks later no issue. She wasn't a security guard though. I think the plant is shut down now.

 

Situations like that i am thankful for detention for sure. Give them 2 hours and then i rest while getting 50 p/hr.

 

I've been banned from every ccx rail yard... Pissed me off so I reported them for a ISO-9000 VIOLATION.

They were still in the times of 28' dumps. Inner bridge laws change, but moderation at the plants is nonexistent.

 

Right we all have a breaking point. I sure have used a lot of diplomacy at times.( i told owner of a company once" been trucking for 30 years do you think it will matter if i never come back?) That was at least 15 years ago. Sure you and others also. Thing is many drivers owner op etc.have large attitude and think their ##it don't stink. All of a sudden they are dealing with a person of the same attitude. Something or someone has to give. Then IMO we just have to weigh our options and carry on. Might say consider what or who my actions affect.

But my terminal keeps a dumpster out back for easy cleaning. So we got that going for us, which is nice.

I was driving for an equipment rental company and was sent in to swap put a bobcat for a customer who was in there doing some demolition. When I got to the gate at the end of the day I had no problem with security who gave me directions to the site and let me through. After doing the swap and going back to security the same guard that let me in told me that I didn't have a contractors pass so I couldn't take the tracksteer off their property and would have to go back to the demo site drop it and go back in the morning to get it. I pointed out that I was sitting on their scale with signs all over telling me not to back up on it. The dick told me he would oescort me to the site pen the gate so I could turn right to go to the main security office where someone would escort me to the site to make sure I did the swap. When he openned the gate I turned left and headed for the highway. I figured effyou. My customer is the demo company not US Steel. They wanted the new machine on site when they got in the next day and it was. The security guys lost their crap and made a big deal about. A week later I wascgrounded for life from all their plants
