we can get 73k on a straight 10 wheeler in MA, ma and ri are 99k, me nh and vt are 99k on 6 but vt will give a 90k for 5 axles, ny is 102 on 5, 107k on 6 and 117k on 7650cat425 and singlescrewshaker Thank this.

I know Oregon will allow up to 105,500 on 7 for triples combinations.

Every time truckers get a raise, they increase the length of the trailer and the max weight to compensate. Every 4 loads you haul is one less driver they have to pay that higher rate to, so the Man is actually moving more freight for less money.

If stopping ability was important, I guess all new trucks and trailers would come with disc brakes.
Our federal government could require a shorter stopping distance. -
I never hauled over 43k. In a dry box
But I don't trust these disc brakes. They don't feel right. -
hauling 107k gross in ny with 6 axles and full disks that truck would stop on a dime and bring back change, they are nothing like the pos bendix disks from the 80s of that is what your gripe is fromLast edited: Feb 13, 2021
