Just do what the Swift drivers do, hang a spare on your nipple ring.
merv85, Deere hunter, Snailexpress and 2 others Thank this. -
Its a holder the wife made to hold the smokes. Small note pad and phone. I feel bad I hardly ever use it. But it does collect a lot of gunk. She washes every couple home times and can tell how much I use it by the dirt....lol. I use it to keep the wheel clean.
On a side note she made me something that resembles a horse saddle that drapes over the seat. Pockets on both sides. Now That, I use almost every day. I'm just waiting on the day I forget my keys in there....nikmirbre Thanks this. -
Put a spare key up some place. On my radiator, two zip ties hold one key.
I locked my self out once. A car hauler fell and broke something in his foot. At loves in the fuel island. I got out to help him and locked my self out. Loves service unlocked me for free. Put the wedge up front part of the window near the top and then used a hook to pull the handle.feldsforever Thanks this. -
I always leave the wing window unlocked. I had a Hyundai sonata that would randomly lock itself. One time i locked my keys in and got lucky with a coat hanger. Fished it in w/o breaking the glass and hit the unlock button with it

Under hood and above fuel tank caps if you have side skirts are two locations that are easy to access . I prefer above fuel cap because it’s hidden better and no one sees it by chance when working on truck or during your pretrip .
stillwurkin, feldsforever and Flat Earth Trucker Thank this. -
Back when we had the two FL60’s working We both had keys to each others trucks. If we were teamed up on the Friday scrap runs or various special runs during the week that required a helper I could always unlock the passenger door and get in on my side without him worrying about it. Or vice versa. To be locked out then. We woulda had to of both lost our keys.
Funny thing was the keys between the trucks would not interchange in the doors. The tumbler cuts were way too different.feldsforever Thanks this. -
I'm doing this for almost two decades, always have a key hidden under the truck sleeper . I remember stooping on small parking area on side of the road on Trans-Canada 11, in the middle of nowhere to take a leak in -30 degrees C, west of Hearst /Northern Ontario, i slammed the door got looked outside, maybe because the latches were frozen. At the time was no cell phone coverage in the area , i did not know what else to do, so i smashed the passenger window and got inside.tommymonza and feldsforever Thank this.
