Best reefer gig was Birchwood Foods Kenosha was supposed to pull an empty up to Johnsonville in Sheboygan and bring the loaded back to the yard for other driver who takes em down south.
Atleast that's how it was initially promoted to me when I applied.
Found out it's gonna really be alot of Southside of Chicago and sitting around or bone hauls.
I also have a tanker for a short time they had me sucking the waste retention ponds and dumping them in Union Grove where they had a deal with them.
Not the 2 turns back n forth line of hogwash they sold me when I applied with em.
Oh trailer washes too.

Considering you just joined last month, I'll take that comment as literal.
-
You certainly wouldn't be the first one to come on here and do that. LolDale thompson and AModelCat Thank this.

I have the perfect gig for me.
- Small (25 trucks) tanker outfit (pneumatic)
- Ungoverned Pete 389s
- All tools, equipment, vests, hardhats, etc... provided
- Home every night
- Good pay, AND, Paid for EVERYTHING you do
And, I do mean paid for EVERYTHING. DOT Physical due? Paid for however long you're there. Have to wait to load or unload? Paid. Truck in shop? Paid. Have to chase a Kentuckian farther than usual cause you just happen to pick a fast one? I'm not sure about that one yet as I ain't found one that could get away! I'm pretty darn quick for being over 400 years old!
The only real downside is you have to find your own Kentuckians. Bummer, I know. But there's always a down side. I don't care where you work.mjd4277, Dale thompson, Lonesome and 2 others Thank this. -
Frank, even at over 400 YO, I'm pretty sure you could outfly most any Kentuckian.....
mjd4277, Frank Speak and Gearjammin' Penguin Thank this. -
My first question is what is the USA version of a small company is it less than < 1000, less than < 500 or less than < 100 trucks? I think I drove for a small company where they only had about 100 trucks and they were great I never once had any issues always got paid on time, the staff were very helpful even the dispatchers baring one were great to work with,.LW Miller were there names I'd still go back and work for them if given the chance again they had Reefer, dry, tanker, pneumatic, and live stock haulage, all well serviced trucks and trailers.Lonesome Thanks this.

How can someone talk so much, and know so little?
-
You know what they say,it’s not the capture but the thrill of the chase. I’m sure Frank would feel his heart thumping like crazy-if he wasn’t dead already!
Lonesome Thanks this. -
You sound like the kind of person that drives for CRST.
-
That's rather harsh.snowlauncher and Lonesome Thank this.
